The ATEN CS1922M is a 2-port USB 3.0 4K DisplayPort MST KVMP switch, and it's the step up from the CS1912 for anyone who wants full 4K60.
If the CS1912's 4K30 cap is the dealbreaker, this is ATEN's answer: same 2-computer, single-monitor layout, but DisplayPort 1.2 pushes it to 4K UHD or DCI at a full 60Hz, plus an RS-232 port for automation.
Full 4K60 Over DisplayPort 1.2
Where the CS1912 and CS1914 are stuck at 4K30, the CS1922M's DisplayPort 1.2 path gets you 3840x2160 at 60Hz (or 4096x2160 DCI at 60Hz), plus a 2560x1440@144Hz mode for high-refresh single-monitor setups. HDCP 1.3 is supported for protected content.
Control & Ports
Beyond the usual pushbutton and hotkey switching, the CS1922M adds RS-232 command control for automation, on top of USB mouse-based switching. Two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports (front and rear) carry a 5Gbps hub, and dual 3.5mm jacks handle line-out and mic on both console and computer sides.
