1.1 Information you give us voluntarily

• Contact form and email. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever you write in the message.
• Newsletter signup, if offered. Your email address, and the date you subscribed.
• Comments or feedback, if offered. Your name, email address, and comment text.

We only use this information to reply to you or to send what you asked for. We do not sell it.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our servers and our third-party tools automatically receive:

• Your IP address, which may be truncated or anonymised depending on the tool
• Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
• Screen size and general device capabilities
• Referring URL, meaning the page or search that sent you here
• Pages viewed, time on page, and links clicked
• Approximate location derived from your IP address, typically city or region level, not a precise location
• Date and time of your visit

This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 3.

1.3 Information we do not collect

We do not collect payment details, card numbers, or banking information. We never see them. All purchases happen on the retailer's site, on their systems, under their privacy policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that threshold. See Section 9.

We use the information described above to:

• Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
• Understand which pages, products, and categories people actually find useful, so we know what to build and update next
• Measure traffic, referral sources, and site performance
• Serve advertising, including personalised advertising where you have consented to it
• Track affiliate referrals so retailers can attribute a sale to us and pay the commission
• Respond to messages you send us
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, scraping, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We and our partners use them in four ways.

• Strictly necessary cookies. Keep the Site working, remember your cookie consent choices, and protect against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics cookies. Tell us how many people visit, which pages they read, and how they got here. Used in aggregate, not to identify you personally.
• Advertising cookies. Set by Google and other advertising partners to serve ads, cap how often you see the same ad, and measure whether an ad worked.
• Affiliate tracking cookies. Set by the retailer when you click an outbound link, so that retailer knows the visit came from us. These are set by the retailer, on the retailer's domain, and are governed by the retailer's own policy.

You can control cookies through our consent banner where it is shown, and through your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics and advertising cookies will not stop you using the Site.

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this Site.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and other sites on the internet.
• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings.
• Where required, including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we request your consent before serving personalised ads, and you can withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings link in our footer.

4.2 Other advertising partners

We may also work with other advertising networks and vendors. Where we do, they may set their own cookies and use their own tracking technologies, subject to their own privacy policies. Some of these vendors may be part of the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, and your consent choices are passed to them through our consent tool.

When you click an affiliate link:

• The retailer, or an affiliate network acting for them, sets a cookie on your device to attribute any resulting purchase to us.
• We receive aggregated, anonymised reporting: how many clicks, how many orders, what product categories, and how much commission. We do not receive your name, your address, your card details, or your order contents at an individual level.
• Once you land on the retailer's site, you are on their property. Their privacy policy applies, not ours.
• Where we display Amazon product data, that data is retrieved through the Amazon Product Advertising API and is subject to Amazon's terms.

We use web analytics tools, which may include Google Analytics, to understand how the Site is used. These tools set cookies and process the data described in Section 1.2.

Where the tool supports it, IP anonymisation is enabled. You can opt out of Google Analytics through the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by declining analytics cookies in our consent banner.

We share information only in these situations:

• Service providers. Hosting, analytics, email delivery, security, and advertising partners who process data on our behalf.
• Advertising partners. As described in Section 4.
• Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, court order, or a valid request from a public authority.
• Business transfer. If the Site or its owning business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction. Any acquirer remains bound by this policy until it is updated.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising other than through the advertising cookies described above, which you can decline.

• Analytics data is retained for the retention period configured in the analytics tool, typically 14 to 26 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated.
• Emails and contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference.
• Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs are retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes.

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the age set by local law where that age is higher. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10.1 If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Our legal bases for processing are consent for advertising and analytics cookies, and legitimate interests for site security, fraud prevention, and basic operation of the Site.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10.2 If you are in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent that the use of advertising cookies is treated as "sharing" under California law, you can opt out through our cookie settings link.

10.3 Exercising your rights

Email us at the address in Section 13. We may need to ask for information to verify who you are before acting on a request. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including HTTPS across the Site and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We and our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where personal data of EEA or UK users is transferred outside those regions, it is done under an appropriate legal transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
