Affiliate Disclosure
Last Updated: September 7, 2026
Consumercarts.com ("Consumercarts," "we," "us," or "our") publishes product comparisons, specifications, reviews, and buying guides. To keep the site free for readers, we earn money through affiliate advertising. This page explains exactly how that works, what it means for you, and how it does and does not affect what we publish.
What an Affiliate Link Is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer's website. If you click one of these links and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission on that sale.
You never pay more because of it. The price you pay is the same price you would pay if you went to the retailer directly and typed the product name in yourself. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your wallet.
Amazon Associates Program
Consumercarts.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
Prices and availability shown on this site are accurate as of the date and time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon.com at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase. Always confirm the final price on the retailer's site before you buy.
Other Affiliate Programs
Alongside Amazon, we may participate in other affiliate and referral programs, including retailer programs, manufacturer programs, and affiliate networks. Any outbound link on this site to a product, retailer, or service provider should be assumed to be an affiliate link unless stated otherwise.
How Affiliate Income Affects Our Content
It does not decide our rankings. Our comparisons, scores, and recommendations are based on product specifications, published test data, price-to-performance analysis, and our own research and editorial judgement.
To be specific about what we do and do not do:
- We do not accept payment in exchange for a higher ranking, a better score, or a place in a "best of" list.
- We do not remove or downgrade a product because it pays a lower commission, and we do not promote a product because it pays a higher one.
- We do recommend products that carry no affiliate link at all when they are the right answer for the reader.
- We do include affiliate links to products we recommend, because that is how the site is funded.
If a product is the best option for a given buyer, it gets recommended regardless of whether we earn anything from it.
Sponsored and Gifted Content
Most of what we publish is independent editorial work with no involvement from manufacturers or retailers.
If any of the following ever applies to a piece of content, it will be clearly labelled at the top of that page:
- The content was paid for or sponsored by a brand.
- A product was supplied free of charge, on loan, or at a discount for testing.
- A brand had any input into the content before publication.
Unlabelled content means none of these applied.
Product Data and Accuracy
Our product pages combine manufacturer specifications, retailer listings, and publicly available test data. Specifications and prices change without notice, and manufacturers sometimes revise products without changing the model name. We make reasonable efforts to keep our data current, but we do not guarantee it is complete or up to date. Confirm the specification and price on the retailer's page before you complete a purchase.
Advertising and Cookies
This site also displays third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Full detail on the data we and our partners collect is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Your Purchase Is With the Retailer, Not Us
Consumercarts.com is not a retailer and does not sell products. Every purchase is completed on a third-party retailer's website and is governed by that retailer's terms, pricing, shipping, warranty, and returns policy. Orders, refunds, delivery problems, and warranty claims must be raised with the retailer directly.
Questions
If anything on this page is unclear, or you want to know whether a specific link earns us a commission, ask us and we will tell you.
