The ATEN CS74E is a 4-port PS/2 VGA slim KVM switch built for legacy keyboard and mouse hardware.
This one's for older PS/2-only setups: four computers, VGA video, hotkey or pushbutton switching, no audio and no USB. If everything on your desk still has round PS/2 plugs, this is the switch that supports it.
Built for PS/2, Not USB
Unlike ATEN's USB-based CS72U/CS74U line, the CS74E is a PS/2 keyboard and mouse switch, supporting Microsoft IntelliMouse and scroll-wheel functions natively. It handles up to 2048x1536@60Hz VGA and includes power-on detection, so it automatically jumps to whichever port powers on first, plus a 5-second Auto Scan mode.
Slim Form, No Audio
At just 2.5cm tall, the CS74E is built to sit under a keyboard or monitor stand without taking up desk space. It doesn't switch audio, so pair it with a separate audio switch if that matters for your setup.
