The Gigabyte Z890 AORUS ELITE PLUS is the wired-networking sibling of the Z890 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 PLUS covered elsewhere on this site, sharing an identical 16+1+2 VRM, four-DIMM memory layout, and Ultra Turbo Mode overclocking capability, but dropping onboard Wi-Fi in favour of 2.5GbE-only wired networking. This is the board to choose specifically for a desktop that will always sit near a wired Ethernet connection and has no need for wireless.
The only real difference between this board and its WIFI7 PLUS sibling is the missing wireless module. For a desktop that's always going to sit next to a router with an Ethernet cable already run to it, that's not a downgrade, it's money saved on a feature that would go unused.
