The Netac NV3000 is Netac's entry-level PCIe 3.0 drive, sitting well below the aggressively priced NV7000 we already cover and aimed purely at the lowest-cost NVMe upgrade path available.
It does the one job it's built for, beating SATA speeds for not much money, but Netac's own NV7000 is often close enough in price that we'd check that first before settling for the NV3000's lower ceiling.
Performance and Speed
2,400 MB/s read and 1,500 MB/s write is a modest DRAM-less result that still comfortably beats any SATA drive, though it falls well short of full PCIe 3.0 bandwidth. Sustained writes drop noticeably once the small SLC cache fills on larger transfers.
