NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB (NVIDIA/Blackwell/Mainstream/16GB GDDR7/4,608 CUDA Cores/180W TDP/Ray Tracing/$429 MSRP) Review

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a mainstream Blackwell-architecture graphics card with 16GB of GDDR7 memory, 4,608 CUDA cores, a 180W TDP, ray tracing support, and a $429 MSRP.

The 16GB version of the 5060 Ti is the one we'd actually point people toward over the 8GB variant, and it's not close. VRAM matters more than people think at this tier, and 16GB means this card won't feel dated the moment a new game ships with higher-res textures as standard. At 180W TDP it's one of the more power-efficient cards in our GPU lineup, and a mid-range PSU handles it comfortably.

The 16GB Decision Actually Matters Here

Nvidia sells this card in both 8GB and 16GB flavors with the same core count, we're only carrying the 16GB version because the 8GB variant is the kind of corner-cutting that ages a card badly within a year or two.

Efficiency Without the Flagship Price

180W TDP is genuinely low for the performance on offer, this isn't a card that needs a beefy PSU or premium cooling to run well.

Power Requirements

180W TDP, one of the more power-efficient cards in our GPU lineup, a mid-range PSU handles this comfortably.

Comparison to Alternatives

Against our own RTX 5060 (also new here), the Ti trades a meaningful price increase for a real jump in VRAM and cores, worth it if your budget stretches. Against AMD's RX 9060 XT 16GB, also new to our catalog, the two are close competitors at a similar price point, RX 9060 XT often wins on raw value, the 5060 Ti wins on ray tracing and software features.

The 5060 Ti worth buying — 16GB of VRAM and 180W efficiency make it the sensible mainstream NVIDIA pick, and the 8GB variant isn't worth considering.

Best for

  • 1080p and 1440p builds that want headroom for future games.
  • Budget-conscious builders who still want a real ray tracing option.

Not for

  • Anyone considering the 8GB variant instead, we don't recommend it.
  • 4K gaming, this card isn't built for that resolution.
