Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Pro Review
Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Pro is a silicone-free, non-conductive thermal paste for large-surface heat sinks, water cooling and industrial uses, sold in 2g, 6g and 30g tubes with the TG Spatula Pro.
Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut Pro is a newer, improved Hydronaut formula shown at Computex 2026 and released in June 2026. It is silicone-free, neon green, fully non-conductive (0 pS/m) and RoHS compliant, does not harden over time, and resists pump-out from thermal cycling. The silicone-free mix makes it compatible with EPDM and NBR seals, so it suits industrial uses as well as PC cooling. It sits alongside the original Hydronaut as a separate SKU.
Thermal Performance and Conductivity
Thermal Grizzly does not publish a W/mK conductivity figure for Hydronaut Pro. The original Hydronaut's rating belongs to that older formula and is not carried over here.
Silicone-Free Composition
Hydronaut Pro contains no silicone. That makes it compatible with EPDM and NBR seals, which some silicone-based pastes can attack, and opens it up to industrial applications.
Electrical Safety
