The StarTech SV1631DUSBU is a 16-port 1U rackmount USB KVM switch with on-screen display, VGA video up to 1920x1440, and a 2-port USB 2.0 hub for server-room console access.

This is a server-room workhorse, not a desktop switch, 16 computers into one console, cascadable up to 64 machines when you chain multiple units together. VGA-only video and no audio keep it firmly in the rack-management category rather than multimedia. Versus the Tripp Lite B064-016-19, that's a similar 16-port VGA rack KVM with a built-in LCD console option, worth the extra cost if you don't want to keep a separate monitor in the rack. Built for Server Racks, Not Desks
