Description

If you've already used regular Conductonaut and had it run or migrate on a GPU die or a vertical mount, Conductonaut Extreme is Thermal Grizzly's answer to that exact problem. Same 73 W/mK alloy, thicker viscosity, built specifically so it stays where you put it.

If you've already used regular Conductonaut and had it run or migrate on a GPU die or a vertical mount, Conductonaut Extreme is Thermal Grizzly's answer to that exact problem. Same 73 W/mK alloy, thicker viscosity, built specifically so it stays where you put it.

Thermal Performance and Conductivity

73 W/mK, identical to standard Conductonaut. This isn't a conductivity upgrade, it's a handling upgrade. If you're buying this expecting better temps than regular Conductonaut, you won't see it, the number's the same.

Compound Type and Composition

Same gallium-based liquid metal alloy as the standard version, just formulated thicker so it resists running under gravity or vibration.

Application and Consistency

This is the whole point of the product: thicker, more controllable application, especially useful on GPU dies mounted vertically in a case or on larger CPU dies where a thin liquid formula tends to spread further than intended.

Electrical Safety

Just as conductive as regular Conductonaut, the thicker formula reduces the odds of it migrating somewhere it shouldn't, but it doesn't eliminate the short-circuit risk. Treat it with the same care.

Longevity and Pump-Out Resistance

Long-lasting once applied, and the whole reason to pick this over standard Conductonaut is that it's less likely to need re-doing because it migrated away from the die.

Comparison to Sibling Products

Against Thermal Grizzly's own standard Conductonaut, covered elsewhere on this site, this is a straight upgrade for GPU and vertical-mount use cases, same conductivity, better handling. Against Coollaboratory Liquid Pro, Conductonaut Extreme trades some peak conductivity for a formula most builders find easier to control.

Who This Compound Is Actually For

**Winner for:** GPU liquid metal application, where regular Conductonaut's thinner formula is more likely to cause problems. **GPU dies and vertical mounting setups.** **Builders who've had migration issues with standard Conductonaut.** **Not for:** First-time liquid metal users, standard Conductonaut with careful application is still the more common starting point. **Not for:** Anyone chasing the absolute highest conductivity number, this ties standard Conductonaut rather than beating it.
