Which should you buy, Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 A-RGB or NZXT X63?
Take the Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 A-RGB for the most demanding sustained workloads: Threadripper, flagship 16-core-plus CPUs under heavy all-core load, or extreme overclocking. This is specifically the tier where a 420mm radiator's extra surface area genuinely matters over a 360mm unit. It is equally the pick for buyers with a case specifically built or verified to fit a 420mm radiator. This is a hard requirement, not a minor consideration; confirm clearance before purchase. It is the wrong buy for the majority of builds, even high-end gaming ones. The Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 ARGB, covered elsewhere on this site, already covers flagship gaming CPUs comfortably at a more universally case-compatible size. The NZXT X63 is the one to take for 280mm-radiator cases and NZXT CAM ecosystem builds, though it is not the pick for cases with 360mm radiator space available and buyers wanting an LCD pump display.
