The Endgame Gear XM2we is the one to take for fans of the XM1/XM2 symmetrical shape and ambidextrous claw and palm grip users, though it is not built for players who specifically want 4000Hz or 8000Hz polling and anyone wanting RGB lighting. Buy the Logitech G502 Hero for palm grip users who like a heavier, filled-in shape, though it is the wrong buy for gram-counters chasing sub-80g mice and fingertip grip players who prefer small shells. It also earns its place with players who want 11 programmable buttons for MMO or MOBA binds. Our rating of the Logitech G502 Hero (9/10): the most complete all-rounder in Logitech's lineup, and still a fair benchmark for what a mid-priced wired mouse should offer.
