Who each one is for
Buy the Intel Acer Predator BiFrost OC Arc A770 for gamers targeting the resolution this mainstream tier is built for, though it is not the pick for 4K/high-refresh gamers if this card's tier sits below High-End. It is equally the pick for builders who want 16GB of VRAM without moving up a tier. It is not the one for buyers who need the absolute best price-to-performance and should compare street prices first. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Mobile suits 1080p/1440p mobile gaming without needing the thinnest possible chassis and buyers comparing full-power vs Max-Q variants before purchase, though it is not built for buyers prioritizing thin-and-light portability (the Max-Q variant suits that better) and 4K gaming on external displays. The same goes for thicker gaming laptop buyers wanting more sustained performance than Max-Q offers. Our rating of the Intel Acer Predator BiFrost OC Arc A770 (7/10): A solid mainstream pick if its price and 16GB VRAM allocation match your target resolution.
