AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT vs NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070: Comparison
What is the difference between AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT and NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070?
On memory bandwidth the spread is 57%, AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT 288 GB/s against NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070 672 GB/s, so NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070 takes it. The benchmark result agrees. Blender Cycles (GPU) puts NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070 82% ahead, 6,173 against 1,100 over 912 runs. Vram runs the same way, 8 GB on the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT versus 12 GB on the NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070, another win for NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070. Add memory bus width to that, 128 bit on the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT versus 192 bit on the NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070, and the pattern holds.
AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT vs NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070: which one fits your build
Buy the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT for 1080p mainstream gaming laptops and AMD-platform gaming laptop buyers, though it is not the pick for ray tracing-heavy titles and buyers wanting the most mature upscaling ecosystem. The NVIDIA ASUS Dual OC GeForce RTX 5070 is the one to take for gamers targeting the resolution this mainstream tier is built for, though it is the wrong buy for 4K/high-refresh gamers if this card's tier sits below High-End. It is equally the pick for builders who want 12GB of VRAM without moving up a tier. It is the wrong buy for buyers who need the absolute best price-to-performance and should compare street prices first.
