AMD ASUS TUF Gaming OC Radeon RX 6800 XT vs NVIDIA Palit GameRock OC GeForce RTX 5080: which one fits your build
The AMD ASUS TUF Gaming OC Radeon RX 6800 XT is the one to take for gamers targeting the resolution this high-end tier is built for, though it is the wrong buy for 4K/high-refresh gamers if this card's tier sits below High-End. The same goes for builders who want 16GB of VRAM without moving up a tier. Avoid it for buyers who need the absolute best price-to-performance and should compare street prices first. Buy the NVIDIA Palit GameRock OC GeForce RTX 5080 for buyers who want Palit's distinctive backlit GameRock cooler design. It also earns its place with 1440p 144Hz+ gaming and ray tracing enthusiasts wanting near-5090 performance without the flagship price. It is the wrong buy for value-conscious buyers, doesn't clearly justify the price step up over the RTX 5070 Ti for most buyers.
