Adder Technology Adder ALIF1002P vs Tripp Lite B002-DV2A4 Secure 4-Port: which one fits your build
Buy the Adder Technology Adder ALIF1002P for enterprise IP KVM matrix deployments centered on DVI video and facilities already using Adder's ADDERLink Infinity Manager, though it is not the pick for multi-monitor workstations needing dual-head DVI, where the ALIF2112T fits better and HDMI or DisplayPort-based workstations. It also earns its place with buyers wanting a complete matched transmitter/receiver pair rather than individual nodes. Avoid it for small single-room extension budgets, where the Emerald EMD2000PE-T costs roughly half as much. The Tripp Lite B002-DV2A4 Secure 4-Port is the one to take for classified or compliance-driven dual-monitor DVI desks and NIAP PP3.0-certified secure environments, though it is the wrong buy for casual home/office use and buyers wanting hotkey/software switching. Our rating of the Adder Technology Adder ALIF1002P (7/10): A capable enterprise DVI network extender pair, priced for serious IP KVM matrix deployments rather than single-room extension. Our rating of the Tripp Lite B002-DV2A4 Secure 4-Port (7.4/10): A PP3.0 NIAP-certified secure dual-head DVI KVM, Tripp Lite's established government/regulated-environment tier.
