ASUS ROG Strix G16 2025 vs Framework Laptop 16: which one fits your build
The ASUS ROG Strix G16 2025 is the one to take for high-refresh 1440p gaming on a budget, though it is not the pick for Thunderbolt peripheral users. The Framework Laptop 16 suits right-to-repair focused buyers and future GPU module upgraders, though it is the wrong buy for buyers wanting the thinnest possible chassis. It has a free memory slot, a free second SSD slot and a 90Wh battery, so it is well set up for high-refresh gaming. It weighs 2.5 kg and has no Thunderbolt, which matters if you rely on docks or fast external drives. Plan on using it mostly at a desk.
