Who each one is for
The HP ZBook Power 16 G11 is the one to take for budget-conscious ISV-certified workflows, though it is the wrong buy for heavy rendering/simulation workloads. Buy the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 for color-critical creative work at high refresh and buyers who want RAM/storage headroom, though it is not the pick for portability-focused buyers. Our rating of the HP ZBook Power 16 G11 (8.2/10): the ZBook Power 16 G11 combines a Core Ultra 7 165H, 32GB of DDR5 and a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 display. It has Thunderbolt 4, two M.2 slots with one free, and an 83 Wh battery at 2.04 kg, which suits professionals running certified design and engineering software. Both RAM slots are already full, so more memory means swapping modules. The GPU has 8GB of VRAM, so heavy rendering and simulation are better served by a higher-end workstation.
