Akko 3098B vs Logitech G915 X TKL: Comparison

Akko 3098B vs Logitech G915 X TKL layout compared

Layout is the dividing line, Akko 3098B 98-Key against Logitech G915 X TKL TKL. There is a split on connectivity as well, Bluetooth 5.0 / 2.4GHz RF / USB-C Wired on the Akko 3098B versus LIGHTSPEED 2.4GHz wireless + Bluetooth + USB-C wired on the Logitech G915 X TKL. They differ on backlighting too, RGB Backlighting on the Akko 3098B versus Per-key RGB on the Logitech G915 X TKL.

Who each one is for

The Akko 3098B suits numpad users wanting wireless hot-swap and budget-conscious full-layout buyers, though it is the wrong buy for minimalist 60%/65% users and buyers wanting premium aluminum builds. The Logitech G915 X TKL is the one to take for players who want LIGHTSPEED 2.4GHz wireless reliability without the cable, though it is not the pick for buyers who want hot-swappable switches, these are soldered in. It is equally the pick for anyone already in the Logitech G software ecosystem with other G-series peripherals. It is the wrong buy for anyone who wants QMK/VIA open-source programmability rather than Logitech's own software. Our rating of the Akko 3098B (7/10): A full-numpad wireless hot-swap board that punches above its budget price point.
