Which should you buy, ASRock B560M Pro4 or ASUS Prime B650M-A WiFi II?
Buy the ASRock B560M Pro4 for the most budget-conscious LGA1200 builds that still want PCIe 4.0 and builders who don't need built-in WiFi, though it is the wrong buy for overclocking-focused builds (the B560 chipset doesn't support it). Avoid it for anyone who wants WiFi included without buying the separate Pro4/ac variant. The ASUS Prime B650M-A WiFi II suits builders who don't need Wi-Fi 6E or 6GHz band support, though it is not the pick for anyone who wants Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 and builds needing more than 192GB total memory capacity. It is equally the pick for budget micro-ATX builds that want a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot for future upgrades.
What ASRock B560M Pro4 and ASUS Prime B650M-A WiFi II have in common
The common ground is wider than the gap: memory slots, m.2 slots, m.2 slots onboard, form factor and pcie 5.0 support are identical here. They match on 3 further specifications as well.
