ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi vs Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX: Comparison
What is the difference between ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi and Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX?
The gap that matters here is max memory: ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi 128 GB against Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX 64 GB, which puts ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi 50% ahead. They differ on oldest cpu family supported too, Ryzen 7000 on the ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi versus Ryzen 3000 on the Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX. They differ on pcie 5.0 support too, Yes on the ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi versus No on the Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX.
Who each one is for
Buy the ASRock B650E PG-ITX WiFi for SFF cases that support eDP side-panel displays for status readouts, though it is the wrong buy for builds needing 5GbE-or-faster networking. It is equally the pick for builders who prioritize PCB durability and signal integrity in a compact board. Avoid it for buyers who don't need the premium PCB and would rather save money on the Lightning WiFi. The Gigabyte B550I AORUS Pro AX is the one to take for SFF cases where rear-mounted M.2 storage improves front-panel airflow. It also earns its place with AM4 builders wanting genuinely strong VRM headroom for Ryzen 5000 X3D chips. It is not the one for buyers who specifically want built-in Thunderbolt like the ASRock X570 ITX board.
Where the two are identical
Where they agree, they agree completely, memory slots, m.2 slots, m.2 slots onboard, form factor and platform included, so the decision does not turn on any of those. They match on 6 further specifications as well.
