ASRock B650M Pro RS vs ASUS Prime A620M-K: Comparison
What is the difference between ASRock B650M Pro RS and ASUS Prime A620M-K?
The gap that matters here is max memory: ASRock B650M Pro RS 256 GB against ASUS Prime A620M-K 96 GB, which puts ASRock B650M Pro RS 63% ahead. ASRock B650M Pro RS also leads on memory slots, 4 on the ASRock B650M Pro RS versus 2 on the ASUS Prime A620M-K. ASRock B650M Pro RS also leads on m.2 slots, 3 on the ASRock B650M Pro RS versus 1 on the ASUS Prime A620M-K.
Who each one is for
Buy the ASRock B650M Pro RS for the most affordable current-generation AM5 builds, though it is the wrong buy for anyone who wants Wi-Fi included out of the box and builds that want a PCIe 5.0 x16 GPU slot. It also earns its place with builders who don't need a PCIe 5.0 GPU slot or built-in WiFi. The ASUS Prime A620M-K is the one to take for office or budget productivity builds using Ryzen APUs, though it is not built for anyone wanting factory Wi-Fi or faster-than-Gigabit networking. The same goes for buyers who specifically want ASUS's brand and support at the lowest possible AM5 price. Avoid it for builders who want the extra features found on the TUF Gaming A620M-Plus WiFi.
Where the two are identical
The common ground is wider than the gap: form factor, platform, newest cpu family supported, oldest cpu family supported and wi-fi onboard are identical here. They match on 6 further specifications as well.
