The gap that matters here is memory slots: ASRock B650M Pro RS 4 against Colorful BATTLE-AX A620M-D PRO V14 2, which puts ASRock B650M Pro RS 50% ahead. M.2 slots runs the same way, 3 on the ASRock B650M Pro RS versus 2 on the Colorful BATTLE-AX A620M-D PRO V14, another win for ASRock B650M Pro RS. Which should you buy, ASRock B650M Pro RS or Colorful BATTLE-AX A620M-D PRO V14?
Buy the ASRock B650M Pro RS for the most affordable current-generation AM5 builds, though it is the wrong buy for anyone who wants Wi-Fi included out of the box and builds that want a PCIe 5.0 x16 GPU slot. The same goes for builders who don't need a PCIe 5.0 GPU slot or built-in WiFi. The Colorful BATTLE-AX A620M-D PRO V14 is the one to take for buyers less concerned with wireless connectivity or above-Gigabit networking, though it is not built for anyone wanting factory Wi-Fi or 2.5GbE networking. It is equally the pick for budget builders who want the highest disclosed memory OC ceiling among A620 boards in this batch. Avoid it for buyers who prioritize a fully documented audio/VRM spec sheet before purchasing.
Where the two are identical
Where they agree, they agree completely, form factor, platform, newest cpu family supported, oldest cpu family supported and wi-fi onboard included, so the decision does not turn on any of those. They match on 7 further specifications as well.
