Intel 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H vs Intel 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7: Comparison
11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H vs 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7: the p-core base clock difference
The first real difference is p-core base clock: 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H 3.3 GHz against 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7 3.0 GHz. They differ on tdp too, 35 W on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H versus 28 W on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7. There is a split on configurable tdp floor as well, 28 W on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H versus 12 W on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7. Socket is not the same on both, FCBGA1449, FCLGA1449 on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H versus FCBGA1449 on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7. They differ on release year too, 2021 on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H versus 2020 on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7. There is a split on base power as well, 35 W on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H versus 28 W on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7.
Who each one is for
Take the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H for gaming laptops prioritizing single-thread responsiveness and strong integrated graphics over maximum core count. Avoid it for content creators needing maximum multi-threaded throughput, 8-core H-series chips of the same generation handle that better. it is the wrong buy for buyers needing more than 4 cores for sustained multi-threaded work. It also earns its place with high-end thin-and-light laptops wanting Intel's strongest available integrated graphics alongside excellent per-core CPU performance.
Where the two are identical
The common ground is wider than the gap: total cores, performance cores, efficiency cores, total threads and p-core boost clock are identical here. They match on 20 further specifications as well.
Frequently asked questions
Is the L3 Cache the same on the 11th Gen Intel Core i7 11370H and 11th Gen Intel Core i7 1185G7?
It is. Both are listed at 12 MB, so it is not a reason to pick one over the other.
