Akasa AK-450 Silver Compound 450 vs Corsair TM30: Comparison
What Akasa AK-450 Silver Compound 450 and Corsair TM30 have in common
The common ground is wider than the gap: paste segment are identical here.
Which should you buy, Akasa AK-450 Silver Compound 450 or Corsair TM30?
The Akasa AK-450 Silver Compound 450 suits mainstream CPU repastes under air or AIO coolers and Akasa AK-455 owners wanting a higher-rated Akasa compound, though it is not the pick for sub-zero or chiller cooling, since Akasa rates it from 0C and buyers who need published electrical safety data. The Corsair TM30 is the one to take for first-time builders who want a straightforward, applicator-guided application and Corsair-ecosystem builds pairing with Corsair coolers or cases. It is not the one for builders chasing the highest published conductivity numbers, where Corsair doesn't compete on paper against TFX or Kryonaut. Our rating of the Akasa AK-450 Silver Compound 450 (6/10): A silver-based compound with a solid published conductivity figure and a bundled spreader, reasonable for the price. Our rating of the Corsair TM30 (5.6/10): Corsair's budget entry paste; some reviewers have flagged durability concerns over long-term use compared to Corsair's pricier lines.
