Anker PowerConf C302 vs Elgato Facecam: Comparison
Anker PowerConf C302 vs Elgato Facecam resolution compared
The first real difference is resolution: Anker PowerConf C302 2K30 against Elgato Facecam 1080p60. There is a split on primary use case as well, Hybrid Meetings on the Anker PowerConf C302 versus Streaming, Content Creation on the Elgato Facecam.
Who each one is for
Buy the Anker PowerConf C302 for hybrid meeting rooms with changing attendees and small teams wanting AI auto-framing, though it is not built for buyers wanting true 4K resolution and solo streamers wanting high frame rates. Take the Elgato Facecam for streamers who want a consistent, non-hunting image without autofocus pulsing during broadcasts. This webcam's fixed focus and Sony sensor directly serve that priority. It is not the one for buyers who move around frequently and need active autofocus to stay in focus. A model with active autofocus covered elsewhere on this site better serves that need. Our rating of the Anker PowerConf C302 (7/10): A smart pick for hybrid meeting rooms where people move in and out of frame throughout a call. Our rating of the Elgato Facecam (7/10): A streaming webcam whose genuine Sony sensor and fixed-focus design deliver a more consistent, distraction-free image than many pricier competitors with hunting autofocus.
