AVerMedia CAM 340 vs Logitech C925e: Comparison
AVerMedia CAM 340 vs Logitech C925e: the resolution difference
The first real difference is resolution: AVerMedia CAM 340 4K30 against Logitech C925e 1080p30. There is a split on primary use case as well, Video Conferencing, Content Creation on the AVerMedia CAM 340 versus Business Video Conferencing on the Logitech C925e.
Who each one is for
Take the AVerMedia CAM 340 for professional video conferencing users who want 4K resolution with HDR from a broadcast-hardware specialist. This webcam's sensor quality is a genuine strength at its price. Avoid it for buyers who want the absolute smallest, most portable webcam. A more compact model covered elsewhere on this site may better suit that priority. The Logitech C925e is the one to take for office IT departments deploying webcams at scale and users on older PCs needing hardware video encoding, though it is not built for streamers wanting 4K or high frame rates and users who want AI auto-framing. Our rating of the AVerMedia CAM 340 (7/10): A 4K conferencing webcam whose genuine Sony sensor and HDR support deliver more consistent image quality than several pricier competitors. Our rating of the Logitech C925e (7/10): A dependable, no-nonsense conferencing webcam built for IT fleets rather than home streamers.
