Retail listings just say Aspire 3, 8GB RAM, but this chassis code is the one that actually matters. The A315-59 uses two real SO-DIMM slots and dual-channel DDR4, which is the opposite upgrade story to the A315-24P sold under the same Aspire 3 name. If you're buying an Aspire 3 to add RAM later, confirm the chassis code before you order.
