Acer Predator GM7000 Review

The Acer Predator GM7000 extends Acer's gaming-focused Predator brand into NVMe storage, delivering PS5-compatible speed and midrange pricing aimed at gamers already invested in Predator-branded peripherals and displays.

At up to 7,400 MB/s read and 6,700 MB/s write, this drive comfortably exceeds the PS5's minimum expansion drive requirement while delivering solid performance for PC gaming builds as well. Against the Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite, covered elsewhere on this site, both target PS5-compatible gaming use at similar price points. Against the Silicon Power XPOWER XS70, also covered elsewhere on this site, both compete in similar midrange gaming SSD territory.
