Adder ALIF1104T Review

The Adder ALIF1104T is an HDMI KVM-over-IP transmitter that carries video up to 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, USB 2.0 and audio over Gigabit Ethernet, with single-mode fiber extension listed up to 20000 m.

This is the computer-side half of an Adder KVM-over-IP link. It connects one HDMI computer driving one display and puts that video, USB and audio onto a network that can be routed as a matrix. The 2560x1600 @ 60Hz ceiling and the 20000 m reach are the specs that decide whether it fits a site. USB runs at USB 2.0 speed, and the unit needs external power. It is a transmitter only, so a receiver is needed at the desk end.
