Adder AVS-1124 Review

Adder AVS-1124 4-port secure multi-viewer KVM, DVI-D inputs, HDMI 4K30 output, NIAP PP 4.0, control room

A secure multi-viewer KVM built for control rooms that need to view and control four DVI-D sources on a shared HDMI display without dropping frames, backed by NIAP PP 4.0 certification.

Built for Mission-Critical Rooms

The AVS-1124 targets broadcast, security operations and utility control rooms where switching has to be silent and instant. Its front end accepts four DVI-D sources and composites them onto HDMI outputs at up to 3840x2160 at 30Hz.

Mouse-Driven Switching

Operators switch channels (KVM plus audio) by holding Ctrl and moving the mouse across the screen border, so control follows the source window being worked in.

Comparison to Alternatives

Where Adder's own AV4PRO-DP is a leaner desktop switch for a single operator, the AVS-1124 is priced and built for secure shared-room deployments. Against Vertiv's SC920DPH-400 secure switch, both are built around secure data isolation; the AVS-1124 adds multi-viewer display of all four DVI sources at once.
