The Adder AdderView CATx 1000 is an 8-server KVM switch that transmits over standard Cat5/Cat6 cabling, supporting both digital and analog video, for enterprise server-room deployment.
Adder built its reputation on KVM-over-distance technology, and the AdderView CATx 1000 can extend a KVM console up to 300 meters from the connected servers using ordinary network cabling, which matters enormously for data centers where the console needs to sit in a separate control room from the server racks.
