AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX Review

The AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX is the desktop-class "HX" flagship of AMD's Cezanne mobile lineup, an 8-core, 16-thread processor running a 3.3 GHz base clock that boosts to 4.8 GHz within a 45 Watt TDP.

Unlike the power-optimized "HS" tier, the "HX" designation specifically targets desktop-replacement gaming laptops without the same power constraints, effectively running as an unlocked desktop-class chip in mobile form.
