Apple MacBook Neo Review
The Apple MacBook Neo runs Apple's A18 Pro chip (6-core CPU, 5-core GPU) with 8 GB of unified memory and 256 GB of storage, on a 13-inch 2408x1506 display rated at 500 nits.
It is Apple's cheapest Mac laptop, built around the same A18 Pro chip used in iPhone, and it weighs 1.23 kg with a 36.5 Wh battery that Apple rates at 11 hours of wireless web use. The limits are fixed at purchase: 8 GB of memory is the only option and storage is soldered, so neither can be upgraded. Ports are thin too, with one 10 Gb/s USB-C, one USB 2 USB-C and a headphone jack, and no Thunderbolt. This 256 GB model has no Touch ID.

Not for
- Anyone who needs more than 8 GB of memory, as it cannot be added later
- Users who rely on Thunderbolt docks or several fast USB devices
