ASRock B850 Steel Legend WiFi

The B850 Steel Legend WiFi extends ASRock's Steel Legend design to the B850 chipset, matching much of the X870 Steel Legend's feature set at a lower price point since it doesn't need to support the X870 chipset's extra connectivity.

Power delivery uses the same 14+2+1 phase design with 80A Dr.MOS stages found on the X870 Steel Legend WiFi, giving it identical VRM headroom at a lower overall board price. Four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 256GB total capacity, with overclocking rated up to 8000+ MT/s. Expansion includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot at x4. Storage covers four M.2 slots: one PCIe 5.0 and three PCIe 4.0. A 2.5 Gigabit LAN controller handles wired networking, paired with an 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 module. Audio uses a Realtek ALC4082 7.1-channel codec with Nahimic audio. Against its sibling ASRock X870 Steel Legend WiFi in this batch, the B850 Steel Legend WiFi actually offers one more M.2 slot (four versus three) at a lower price, making it arguably the better value pick unless X870's extra chipset lanes matter to a specific build.
