ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 Review

ASUS ROG Strix Scope II 96 full-size 96% mechanical gaming keyboard, ROG NX Snow switches, hot-swappable, Aura Sync RGB, gasket-mounted sound-dampening foam.

The Strix Scope II 96 packs a full 96% layout including a numpad into a footprint tighter than a traditional full-size board, using ASUS's own pre-lubed ROG NX Snow linear switches and internal sound-dampening foam for a deeper, less hollow sound signature than most gaming keyboards at this price.

Comparison to Alternatives

Against the ASUS ROG Azoth, the Strix Scope II 96 drops wireless connectivity and the OLED display in exchange for a full numpad and a lower price within ASUS's own ROG lineup. Compared with the NuPhy Air96 V2, the Strix Scope II 96 uses standard-height switches and gaming-first styling rather than NuPhy's low-profile, minimalist aesthetic.
