ASUS Vivobook S15 S5507 Review
ASUS Vivobook S15 S5507 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 (12 cores), 16GB soldered LPDDR5X, 1TB NVMe SSD and a 2880x1620 120Hz OLED display.
A thin-and-light laptop weighing 1.42 kg, built around a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chip with integrated Adreno graphics. The 15.6-inch OLED covers 100% DCI-P3 at 2880x1620 and 120 Hz. Battery is 70Wh. Memory is soldered LPDDR5X with no slots, and the single M.2 slot is already used, so neither can be expanded. Thunderbolt support is None, and with integrated graphics only it is not a gaming machine. Software that needs native x86 support is the main thing to check.
Overview
ASUS brings Snapdragon X Elite to its mainstream Vivobook line, keeping the OLED panel of the Intel version while gaining Arm's battery efficiency.

Expert rating8.3 / 10
The VivoBook S15 runs a Snapdragon X Elite with 16GB of LPDDR5X and a 1TB drive in a 1.42 kg body. The 15.6-inch 2880 x 1620 OLED refreshes at 120Hz, and the 70Wh battery is large for the weight. It suits people wanting an efficient laptop with a great screen for browsing, documents and media.
The chip is Arm based, so check that your key apps run natively or through emulation. The 16GB is soldered and there is no Thunderbolt port.
Best for
- Battery life and OLED on a budget
Not for
- Native x86 app-dependent users
