The AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus (GC513) is a standalone-capable capture card recording 1080p60 straight to microSD in PC-Free Mode, with 4K60 passthrough and HDMI in/out in a 185.5g portable body.

Every capture card in our catalog so far requires a PC or Mac to actually record anything, the Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus is the exception, its PC-Free Mode records straight to a microSD card, no computer required at all, genuinely useful for travel or capturing gameplay on a console-only setup.

PC-Free Recording Is the Whole Point

Three modes cover the ways people actually want to use this, PC Mode for live streaming through a computer, PC-Free Mode for standalone 1080p60 recording to microSD, and Storage Mode for pulling files off afterward. That middle mode is what nothing else in our catalog offers.

Built for Travel, Not a Desk Setup

At 147 x 57 x 47mm and under 200g, this is designed to go in a bag alongside a console, not sit permanently wired into a streaming rig, if your capture needs are occasional and mobile rather than a fixed studio setup, that portability matters more than raw spec numbers.

Comparison to Alternatives
