be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4 140mm PWM Review

For a 140mm fan built to push through a 280mm or 420mm radiator rather than just move open air, the Silent Wings Pro 4 140mm is be quiet!'s pressure-tuned answer.

We'd use it on any large-format AIO where the standard Silent Wings 4 or a generic case fan struggles once fin density goes up, since the extra pressure holds up better under restriction.

Where It Excels

The 140mm Pro 4 keeps the same six-pole motor and pressure-tuned blade as its 120mm sibling, scaled up, so it moves more absolute air while still handling restriction better than an airflow-tuned 140mm fan.

Comparison to Alternatives

Against the be quiet! Light Wings 140mm PWM high-speed already in this catalog, the Pro 4 gives up the ARGB lighting entirely but wins clearly on static pressure, so radiator duty should default here and lighting-focused intake duty to the Light Wings. Against the Arctic P14 PWM PST in the catalog, the Pro 4 costs more but runs quieter at a comparable pressure figure, which is the trade-off to weigh for a multi-fan radiator loadout.
