This isn't a KVM switch for a home office, it's built for environments where data leakage between connected computers is a genuine security requirement, government agencies, defense contractors, and enterprises handling classified or highly sensitive data. NIAP PP3.0/PP4.0 certification means it's been evaluated against a specific government security protection profile, and the optical data diode design physically prevents data from flowing backward through the keyboard/mouse connection, a hardware-enforced isolation that software-based switches can't claim. Why Optical Data Diodes Matter

A standard KVM switch shares USB signal paths that, in theory, could be exploited to leak data between connected systems. An optical data diode physically only allows light (and therefore data) to travel in one direction, keyboard and mouse input flows into the switch and out to the selected computer, with no physical path for data to flow back the other way, closing an attack vector that software isolation alone can't fully close.

Comparison to Alternatives
