Cable Matters 202020 Review

The Cable Matters 202020 is a 2-port DisplayPort KVM switch supporting full 4K@60Hz, a USB 3.0 hub, and hotkey switching.

Cable Matters undercuts ATEN and IOGEAR on price while still hitting true 4K@60Hz over DisplayPort, appealing to buyers who want smooth motion without paying enterprise-brand pricing. As a company built primarily around cables and adapters, Cable Matters brings strong signal-integrity engineering to this switch, which matters for maintaining a clean 4K@60Hz signal at the DisplayPort spec's bandwidth ceiling. Versus the ATEN CS782DP, that adds audio switching and EDID emulation for a price premium, worth it for buyers wanting more polish. Versus the SIIG CE-KV0011-S1, that's limited to 4K@30Hz, worth it only for buyers on a tighter budget.
