CKL BDF215 Review
The BDF215 blends a KVM switch with a USB-C docking station, adding power delivery charging to dual-monitor HDMI switching at a genuinely budget price.
Rather than a pure switch, this doubles as a dock, so a connected USB-C laptop can charge through the same cable that carries video and USB signal, one less cable on a desk running two computers and two monitors. It's a lighter-weight product than CKL's dedicated KVM switches, without audio switching, but the docking-station convenience and low price make it a fit for buyers who want basic dual-monitor switching with charging built in rather than a full-featured enterprise-style KVM.
A Dock and a Switch in One
USB-C PD charging alongside dual-monitor HDMI switching means one cable does double duty, charging the connected laptop while also carrying the KVM signal, a genuine desk-decluttering convenience at a low price.
Comparison to Alternatives
Against CKL's own CKL-622T, a pure USB-C dual-monitor KVM switch without charging, the BDF215 trades some KVM-specific features for docking-station convenience and a lower price.
