Colorful CVN B850M Ark Frozen V14 Review

The CVN B850M Ark Frozen V14 updates Colorful's mATX AM5 lineup to the B850 chipset, part of a refreshed "Ark Frozen" product line launched alongside newer AMD Ryzen platform support.

Colorful does not officially disclose an exact phase count or amperage figure for this board's VRM on widely accessible listings; buyers should verify current retailer spec sheets before assuming parity with pricier B850 competitors. Two DDR5 DIMM slots run in dual-channel mode, consistent with mATX board conventions at this chipset tier, though the exact maximum capacity and OC speed were not fully confirmed across available listings at research time. This board supports PCIe 5.0 per the B850 chipset specification, though exact slot and M.2 counts were not fully confirmed from accessible retailer listings; buyers should verify current spec sheets before purchase. Networking and audio codec details for this specific SKU were not fully confirmed across available listings at the time of research; buyers should check current Colorful or retailer spec pages for exact figures before purchasing. Against the Colorful CVN B650M Gaming Frozen V14 in this catalog, the B850M Ark Frozen V14 moves to the newer B850 chipset as part of Colorful's refreshed product naming, though fewer of its detailed specs were independently confirmable at research time.
