Corsair CMT32GX5M2D6000Z36 32GB Review
The Corsair CMT32GX5M2D6000Z36 is a 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 kit from Corsair's Dominator Platinum RGB line, finished in gray.
6000MT/s is the AM5 sweet spot, so this kit runs at Ryzen's 1:1 Infinity Fabric ratio right out of the box with EXPO, but CL36 is a looser timing for that speed, a 6000MT/s CL30 kit like Corsair's own CMT32GX5M2B6000Z30 gets you meaningfully lower true latency (10.0ns vs 12.0ns here) for a similar price.
Performance
At 6000MT/s CL36, true latency works out to 12.0ns. That's a step behind the CL30 kits at the same speed, but still solidly ahead of budget CL40 DDR5, and 6000MT/s keeps AM5's memory controller running at the efficient 1:1 fabric ratio.
Compatibility
6000MT/s sits squarely in AM5's comfort zone, and this kit works fine on Intel boards too, though Intel builds looking for maximum bandwidth can push higher without the AM5 fabric-ratio penalty.
Comparison to Alternatives
If tighter timings matter more than the gray aesthetic, Corsair's own CMT32GX5M2B6000Z30 (same capacity and speed, CL30) is the better latency pick.
