Corsair ML120 PRO RGB 120mm case fan, 75.0 CFM airflow, 4.2 mmH2O static pressure, 2400 RPM max, 37 dBA, Magnetic Levitation bearing, RGB, PWM control. A magnetic-levitation bearing fan built for high-static-pressure radiator duty with RGB lighting.
Corsair's ML PRO line replaces conventional ball or fluid bearings with a magnetic levitation (maglev) design that has no physical contact point, cutting friction-related noise and wear. The ML120 PRO RGB pairs that bearing with a wide 400-2400 RPM PWM range, four RGB LEDs per fan, and strong static pressure that makes it a favorite for radiator-mounted RGB loops.
Maglev Bearing
Because the rotor floats on a magnetic field rather than resting on a physical bearing surface, the ML120 PRO RGB avoids the wear pattern that eventually makes ball-bearing fans tick or rattle, and Corsair rates it for a long service life even run at high RPM continuously.
Performance Range
The 400-2400 RPM range is unusually wide: at the low end it's essentially silent for case airflow duty, while the top end delivers real static pressure for thick radiators, though 2400 RPM is genuinely loud and most builders will cap it well below that on a PWM curve.
Comparison to Alternatives
Against the Corsair SP120 RGB Elite, the ML120 PRO RGB has a higher RPM ceiling and maglev durability, but the SP120 RGB Elite is quieter at matched airflow thanks to its hydraulic bearing tuning.
