The Corsair Vengeance CMK16GX5M2B5200Z40 is the non-RGB version of the 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5-5200 CL40 kit covered elsewhere on this site: same 40-40-40-77 secondary timings and 1.25V voltage, no lighting hardware, lower price. This is the entry point of Corsair's entire DDR5 range on this site, both in frequency and in price.

Performance and Timings

CL40 at 5200MHz gives roughly 15.4ns true latency, matching the RGB version of this kit exactly since lighting hardware has no bearing on timings. This is the loosest, lowest-frequency configuration in this product family, appropriate for budget builds or systems where memory speed isn't the limiting factor.

Compatibility

DDR5 only. Enable XMP 3.0 on Intel or EXPO on AMD to reach 5200MHz. As a lower, more universally supported frequency, this is among the least demanding DDR5 kits to get running on any board without QVL concerns.
