The Crucial (Micron) MTA18ASF4G72AZ-3G2B1 is a 32GB DDR4-3200 (PC4-25600) ECC Unbuffered UDIMM with CL22 timings, 2Rx8 dual-rank organization, and 1.2V operation. Built by Micron's consumer and workstation brand, it provides ECC error correction for platforms that support unbuffered ECC memory, including AMD Threadripper (non-PRO) and Intel Xeon W workstations.
The Micron connection is the point here: Crucial is Micron's own brand, so this module carries first-party DRAM from one of the three companies that actually manufacture memory chips, rather than a third party binning someone else's silicon. Functionally it is the same class of part as the Kingston ECC UDIMM, unbuffered DDR4-3200 with correction, for Threadripper non-PRO, Xeon W, and entry-server boards that support ECC UDIMM.
