Dell Inspiron 15 3520 (regulatory model P112F) budget laptop with a 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U, 8GB DDR4, a 512GB NVMe SSD, a 15.6-inch FHD 120Hz IPS non-touch display and a 41Wh 3-cell battery.
The Inspiron 15 3520 is the 2022 refresh of the 3511 chassis with 12th Gen Intel chips and an optional 120Hz FHD panel. It keeps two SO-DIMM slots and one M.2 SSD slot. The 120Hz panel uses a 40-pin eDP cable, unlike the 30-pin 60Hz panels in the 3511, so a 3511 screen is not a drop-in replacement for a 120Hz 3520.
Inspiron 15 3520 screen replacement
Dell lists three panels for the 3520: HD TN 220 nits, FHD 120Hz IPS 250 nits non-touch, and FHD WVA touch. The 120Hz non-touch model uses a 40-pin eDP panel. Replacement listings name the BOE NV156FHM-N4U for the 3520, and Parts-People lists the AUO B156HAN13.1, BOE NE156FHM-NX2 and LG LP156WFJ-SPB3 as 40-pin 120Hz panels that also fit the Inspiron 15 3520.
Inspiron 15 3520 battery replacement
Like the 3511, the 3520 takes either the 3-cell 41Wh Dell G91J0 or a 4-cell 54Wh pack (Dell V6W33). Check the label on the battery you are replacing.
