Elgato Facecam Neo Review

The Elgato Facecam Neo brings Elgato's Sony-sensor image quality philosophy to a more budget-accessible price point, trading the higher frame rate of the standard Facecam for a lower cost of entry.

A genuine Sony sensor at a lower price point than the standard Facecam gives budget-conscious streamers Elgato's core image-quality advantage without the cost of the higher-frame-rate model. Against the Elgato Facecam, covered elsewhere on this site, that model reaches 60fps at 1080p rather than this Neo's 30fps, at a correspondingly higher price. Against the Logitech C922 Pro Stream, also covered elsewhere on this site, both target budget-conscious streamers.
