The Elgato Game Capture 4K60 Pro MK.2 is an internal PCIe capture card recording full 4K60 HDR10 with matching 4K60 HDR10 passthrough, the previous-generation flagship internal card ahead of Elgato's 4K X and 4K Pro.
This was Elgato's top internal card before the 4K X and 4K Pro replaced it, and the core capture spec, full 4K60 HDR10 recording and passthrough, is genuinely still strong years later. It's a PCIe Gen 3 x4 card rather than the newer 4K X's PCIe Gen 4 requirement, which actually makes it more compatible with older motherboards. If you find one discounted and don't need the 4K X's VRR passthrough or the 4K Pro's multi-app features, this still performs the core job extremely well.

4K60 HDR10 capture and passthrough was flagship-tier when this card launched and remains genuinely solid today, the newer cards mainly add VRR passthrough and multi-app support rather than a fundamentally better capture pipeline.
